Marc-Andre Dumont, OT

Marc-André has worked as an Occupational Therapist in the Saint John area since 2014. He began his health career as a Massage Therapist, prior to attending UNB Fredericton for his bachelor’s degree and Dalhousie University for his master’s degree. He is committed to helping people improve their lives by empowering greater independence and increasing their functional ability.  He values building professional working relationships built on respect, empathy, and equity. 

While working for WorkSafe NB, he has helped individuals recovering from physical injuries resume their meaningful occupations and developed extensive knowledge of chronic pain management. His professional experience includes ergonomic evaluations, return-to-work assistance, equipment provision, functional assessments, and mental health support.  Promoting psychological or mental wellness is of the utmost importance to him, as everyone deserves to be healthy and well. 

 During his time off, Marc-André is an avid golfer and badminton player. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  Marc-André especially enjoys spending quality time with his 5-year-old daughter having fun and being silly.
